I had a lot of pain in my left shoulder for 10 months. I met DR.Nicholas got an injection, and the staff member kindly explained to me, who is not good at English. Now I am not afraid to visit Marcy Hospital. Dr.Nicholas is a very good Dr.👍

I have never been so disappointed. We have great insurance, have almost fully paid our deductible and we’re charged a 300+ facility fee for using EKG equipment. That’s just the bill for the facility fee, too. The physicians made less money during BOTH episodes of care (around $37 and $84 to be exact, and that’s two different specialty care doctors). People wonder why we have a doctor shortage. My husband’s episode of care is preventative. He has had a heart condition since birth. This type of claim should be considered preventative and covered by the plan, but take note — Mercy charges the facility fee. This isn’t the health plan. It is shameful to surprise bill patients during a time of record high inflation. I also hope this hospital is familiar with the attention being paid by lawmakers who are very concerned about surprise billing and lack of transparency in coverage!

My husband has been trying to get some kind of care because of his Endocarditis for the past 3 days. He sits for hours constantly asking if they had call his name when he goes for restroom breaks and/or asks if they have any beds for him. For 3 days this is a nuisance! He was supposed to have heart surgery yesterday at 2 pm. Arrived at 1:30 pm and sat there waiting until 6:30 pm with a blood pressure of 95/72.. I read these reviews and I ask myself 'why is this hospital/staff treating their patients this way?". This is horribly aweful...

Please feel free to write the hospital about your care and include your care team that evaluated you and administer your care while at Mercy. Please have your medical records pulled for your diagnosis and treatment. If you go to Mercy website you will find the name of the president for Mercy he would appreciate hearing about your experience so that proper changes can be made were the board sees fit. Please drink plenty of water and products such as Gatorade so that your electrolytes can return to normal. Dehydration should not be ignored. Vital organs depend on your body having plenty of fluids. Just keep mind that there are different levels of dehydration, most of them we can take care of by simply increasing our water intake but severe cases are different.
Yes there is even one that opens at midnight, I had late surgery and my best friend stayed with me over night and the nurse told her where to go so she could eat after I got back to my room and comfortable. Just ask everyone is so nice and will help you with anything.

Primary care doctors cannot help with withdrawal. They have to be licensed to administration withdrawal meds such as suboxtin. As far as mercy they do have a detox. However you much call first do a screening call before they accept you. Apparently the team decides if they will help you.

You can always park your own car in the Bunting building and visit whom ever you like. Its most likely because the other buildings are closed and there isn't enough visitor traffic to need valet on the weekends.

I'm so sorry about your experience, please keep in mine service is granted according to the scale of the emergency. Let say that your emergency is of a nature of hives but two individuals come in one hour after you own with chest pains and the other with internal bleeding. The more life treating your situation is the faster your seen. The emergency room please keep in mind is for life saving issues. Not to say that your issues isn't life threatening.
