My first trip with family... we arrived late so we weren't able to really enjoy the park and fishing due to the park closing. BUT Geo the park employee let my wife fish and her son play in park till it was dark. SO we will be back at a better time and get to see what we missed out on the first time. Thanks again Geo for allowing us to stay that 30 to 45 min longer.

Went here as we were treasure hunting, so we took time to check out the lake and play on some of the equipment. A few of the items on the playground had wasp/hornets making bests in or on them and spider webs, so we had to be careful not to disturb them. There is a great view of and around the lake, and there is a very nice pavilion here, but that's all there is worth visiting this park for.

It's a hit or miss. Haven't had a lot of rain so the water may be down a little bit. But it's worth a try.
