Very scenic trail and a fairly demanding hike. It runs through a game reserve and through private property rather than a county or state park. It's literally just a trail, but it's generally very wooded and rolling.

This was a great find! We were able to hike the blue trail in about an hour and 15 minutes. It had some nice inclines and declines but nothing two 60 year olds couldn't handle. Lovely trail next to the river.

Hiking this trail felt like teleporting to the PNW. A true hidden gem. Worth the 30 minute drive north from Grand Rapids.

Moderate terrain through peaceful scenery with copious variation of dense forest. Elevation changes throughout and limited civilization noise. Trailhead could be easier to find with my recommended map adjustment. Parking abiut a half mile west.
