Great group of dogs that visit the park. Large enough area to throw a Frisbee. Beware of one dog: they call him Hershell. He eats pieces poop for breakfast.

The kindest veteranian I was in a very rough place financial but they operated on my dog, saving her life and allowed me to make special arrangements to pay for their services

The park itself is great, however last two times we have been there dogs have been in fights. The first one ended with a $1200 vet bill for a friend of mines dog. Not sure we wanted to go back but today we decided to. Only to have our dog …

My opinion of the Lowell dog park is a little biased, because I manage the park. With that said I encourage people to come visit our free Dog Park , socialize your dog and spend time with other like-minded responsible pet owners. The Park is open during light hours throughout the summer and we have lights on in the winter until 8 p.m. We have a Lake behind the dog park that is available for dogs to swim, a weather shelter, pleanty of seating and a drinking fountain in the park for human and dog consumption during the summer months.

The dog park is open to the public. And has seperate areas for large and small dogs. A license is not required, per se, to use the park, but the city of Lowell does require all dogs to be licensed. Licenses can be obtained at the city hall.
