So, after filing a complaint through the state and county, it came back that 2 out of my 4 concerns were substantiated. They still don't give my mom her meds at the correct times, so I'm not sure what good any of this did. Also, I find out today that they are now in quarantine/lock-down for 2 weeks because they had a 2nd resident test positive. I'm not surprised, an employee was positive and they didn't follow protocols nor did they require any testing and still aren't, then the 1st resident positive case and still not following protocols nor testing, but now there's a 2nd resident case. So I can't visit my mom, she can't leave her room- all because other people wouldn't follow the rules. . . and still aren't. I have RING video and pictures to prove that staff aren't wearing masks, cleaning appropriately, etc. This is just plain wrong. So, they are/were in quarantine and I was told to set up window visits. Not possible as no one answers the phone. Here's a picture of how I'm supposed to get to her window. I've asked for 9 weeks for it to be cleared. No luck yet. Called this morning 10/24 to get her breakfast meds (includes a pain pill she was in dire need of) no answer, she still hasn't received her breakfast meds and it's 11:30. Yesterday it took till 1:32 to get her breakfast medications. Why is this so difficult? Why won't anyone answer my calls or emails?

We are very pleased with the The care my brother has received since being at Addison's, as care for him is challenging ( he has Parkinson's Disease . Staff are always willing to answer questions and address needs the family raises for his care, Becky, et al . As we are now emerging , post Covid Pandemic, we are hopeful that more staff can be added as they continue to grow and ramp up, along with activities to be available for him to engage in, outings and all. Thanks for being here!!! WCM

My mom has been a resident since right before Thanksgiving 2020. We needed to place her quickly as she was living alone and her in home care was no longer able to meet her needs. Adam and Brian were wonderful in getting her placed quickly and helping with all the paperwork that needed to be completed. Going in during COVID was stressful but they were understanding and kept us updated on protocols and procedures. They continue to keep me in the loop and are responsive and follow through with any request. I would highly recommend The Addison.
