I was discharged 2 months ago. I’ve experienced depression/suicidal ideation for 10 years and I had finally sought out help at 22 years old. triangle springs psychiatric hospital was unfamiliar territory for me but my experience there gave me a new outlook on life and taught me a lot about myself. as an inpatient patient I’ve seen with my own eyes that this is not the best place for complete chaos because what’s offered on the website is a fabrication, which took me by surprise after I voluntarily admitted myself into triangle springs with high hopes. the majority of the staff are very sweet and considerate although have trouble communicating with each other. i suffer from a medical illness along with mental illness and I see exactly what the previous inpatients in these reviews are talking about. the pharmacy department is very unorganized, unethical, and inconsiderate of others health conditions. (unless you get lucky and a good staff member is on the floor running the pharmacy -which only occurred on one occasion of the endurance of my stay). my seizure medication was carelessly misplaced 3 times. a situation occurred at 12am (yes, 12am) where a night shift RN in the meadows unit was “working” on the pharmacy floor with the purpose of administering our medication to us patients had refused to thoroughly search for my medication after it had been misplaced hours prior to this particular incident. after some time she yelled at me “sorry, it’s not here, we can’t find it.” basically tough luck, go away, you ain’t getting your medicine, as the other RN shut the window right in front of my face. 3 other patients were still in line waiting to receive their medication as well. if you look on triangle springs website it states “we cure your whole body” and they mention medication management. -a total SCAM. other than the abuse and troubles with the pharmacy department I don’t regret my experience at triangle springs. I made friendships and created great bonds with my peers that I will never forget. the young lady PCA’s are sincerely good people at heart and greatly encouraging for mental health along with the guards and therapists that are super cool as well. all my love and appreciation goes to the PCA’s, the guards, my peers, the friendships I made, and the compassion of the therapists. I met a well-known man in his 40’s in triangle springs that had been inpatient numerous amounts of times and he told me out of all the mental facilities in the area triangle springs is the best one he’s been to. it’s the medical aspect that was the problem- the RN’s, “doctors” , and owner should be investigated.

You’ll be waiting for a long long long long time. I walked out. TO THE COMPANY: DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW. This place is a scam. My favorite part was sobbing while waiting for two hours while the receptionists ordered food and talked and laughed and the only person who I talked to was a BILLING person who said “hi I’m going to talk to you about what your bill will be” and I was like “…. I haven’t even been assessed yet.” God help us all- there is no where to get help.

Waited 6.5 hours (2pm to 8:30 pm) to be told that they will not admit a patient and only do detox, no rehab. Went back to our doctor to look elsewhere. Waste of time and total lack of professionalism.

Andrew Lindberg | Sep 25, 2021

Barely. Patients can make phone calls (if they are of the right mindset), but good luck getting your message for a callback to the patient; I've attempted multiple times to reach my wife currently in there and it has been like pulling teeth. You'll have to actually show up onsite for any results.
