I feel so lucky to have stayed at West Hill B&B !! If you’d like to experience what a true Bed and Breakfast feels, then this is the place for you. I was greeted by Peter and Susan who were available throughout the stay. They made tea and had biscuits ready! They took notes of our dietary preferences and made us a custom breakfast that involved coffee, fresh juices, home made fruits and pancakes, eggs and a homemade cake. Absolutely delicious. They recommended great places for dinner plans and surrounding activities, as well. The grounds are so picturesque, well taken care of and enjoyable. Peter and Susan encouraged us to pick fresh raspberries from their gorgeous garden. We were looking for this homey experience and are so thrilled we found them. I will be back so soon again! Make sure you book in advance. You don’t want to miss out on this place.

I’d highly recommend a stay with Peter and Susan at West Hill House B&B if you are visiting the Mad River Valley. We’ve had the pleasure of staying in the Allen Suite and the Garden Room—both were comfortable and unique. Each had either a jet tub or a steam shower that felt amazing after a cold and taxing day on the slopes at Sugarbush (which is just a few minutes down the road!). Susan and Peter are very welcoming, accommodating, and personal. They take the time to stop and chat when we’re in the cozy common spaces (and make sure the fire is going). They’ve given a lot of thought to the details of your stay, clearly informed by their 15+ years as innkeepers. We love that we can charge our EV on the property and look forward to Susan’s food creations every morning. I cannot say enough about the West Hill House B&B--we hope to make annual trips for as long as we’re in the Northeast!

Peter and Susan are exceptional hosts. The early "on the go" weekend breakfast was delicious and superbly served - 6 stars! The B&B overall feels homey and very well arranged - nice touch with the (ski gear) drying area in the common room. We had a busy weekend and did not check out the steam shower feature - hopefully next time!

Everything about our 4 day stay here was great What makes it a 5 star rating are the inn keepers Peter and Susan and their attention to details about making their guests welcome and comfortable. The highland room was cozy and secluded. The guest access to common areas throughout the inn made you feel at home. Susan morning breakfasts were delicious and ample giving you a good start for your days activities. Definitely recommend this inn to anyone for a stay in central Vermont.
