These barracks are AWFUL! The rooms block cellphone service, forcing you to purchase incredibly expensive internet plans. $12/day when you are visiting for the weekend is ridiculous. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the water pressure on the 1st floor of building 1830 was minimal. Avoid staying here if at all possible.

If you're in the army, you've probably stayed in worse barracks, but these are not nice. Verizon has decent service inside. Water from the fountain tastes bad.

It doesnt leak. I'm harsh of Barracks because they should be held to a higher standard. The building it self is good but the mattress could be better and the mattress covers should be washed from time to time. The laundry room should be better maintained to at least a working order. The showers and latrines could use a real sanitation from roof to floor. The vents are atrocious and with in 3 nights of sleeping there soldiers were falling sick. Black mold should not be a standard of every military housing unit. Soldiers are responsible for cleaning the buildings and maybe this building would be in better care if cleaning supplies and tools were in the janitors closet instead of empty bottles. Locking doors to sleeping areas would be nice as well. The side doors lock near the stairs but the doors leading to corridors do not lock. These doors are unlocked day and night. Where is the safety in that.
