very small portions. usually the steak is not fully cooked. prices are also continuously going up. portions are ridiculously small. asking for a grilled chicken and getting one small piece of chicken in my plate etc. if i want panda now i only get it from Carson City. PE in South Lake Tahoe is a joke. Plate with steak + soda comes to almost $15. not worth it, especially in South Lake Tahoe. every time i go half of the food trays are empty and its not even busy. when i went again mid May their NEW wok fried shrimp tray stayed empty for more than 30mins. meanwhile in Carson City NV they have big signs advertising the wok fried shrimp and food trays are always full. might be a better choice to visit a real restaurant where you can get real food for almost the same price. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. revisited this Panda location end of July 2022 and the story is the same. small portions, out of half of the food items. half of their trays are empty. Carson City location still rocks. South Lake Tahoe franchise restaurants are a continuous JOKE

Out of iced tea. Out of utensils in the condiment bar. Not enough honey walnut shrimp for a serving... So why 5 stars?? These ladies made it all right, were working very hard, and overall we had a great experience.

As an on-the-go vegan, it was great to be able to order a side of plain, steamed white rice from this Panda Express. When I asked if they'd be so kind as to change their gloves before serving, they were more than willing and understood - no questions asked! Side can come in medium or large. So happy they still serve this item without added preservatives/colorings/flavors/oil :)

Panda Express in general is hit and miss and this one has been a big ole miss 18/20 I have been there. It will officially be the last. I know the tired people getting off the mountain are so hungry they may not mind, or even think about returning. I was stoked when this opened but they really stopped trying shortly after opening. The selection was slim, not much offered and the food that was ready was dry and look/tasted like it had been out for a couple days. Fried rice was burnt and garbage.
