The expertise, kindness and professionalism of Attorney Deborah Steeves merits more than just a thank you. Ms. Steeves is "extremely" knowledgeable and is able to explain things in a way that is comprehensible to a non attorney. Her patience, kindness and help is truly appreciated. Thank you

Called to obtain information and was provided with intake phone number. However, the person answering the call was not necessarily pleasant and appeared "annoyed" at having to provide information.

Thank you to Attorney Michelle R.Dempsky Esq., who is an attorney with the Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania in Norristown, PA.!!! Ms. Dempsky recently won another suitcase for me. I am a long time client of Ms.Dempsky’s and I felt the need to publicize how brilliant of an attorney that she is. Ms. Dempsky is so thorough and it is fantastic witnessing how she operates during the court proceedings. Her level of knowledge, diligence, professionalism and patience is second to no other. She also teaches you law whenever you have any type of inquiry and or concern. She is also an attorney of her word. This case has been so complex requiring us to return back and forth to court. Due to it’s complexity, I have needed to contact Ms. Dempsky several times via telephone or email. Her patience is immeasurable and her dedication has never wavered. She has always taken my calls and will reply to my emails in a exceedingly timely fashion. I can always rely on Ms. Dempsky’s assistance with any of my legal matters. I’ve worked with many attorneys but, Attorney Michelle Dempsky Esq. is the best attorney that I have ever encountered. I would recommend her to anyone.

If you are ineligible for Legal Aid you can call our local office at 610-275-5400 to ask about a referral to the Montgomery Bar Association's (MBA) Modest Means Program where an attorney may be available at a reduced rate. If the MBA's Modest Means Program does not handle the case also has a general Lawyer Referral Program that can put you in touch with a private attorney for consultation. You can find more information on the MBA's programs here: montgomerybar.org/for-the-public/lawyer-referral-service.php

Please be advised we cannot provide specific legal advice unless you have an open file with our office. You can apply online lasp.org/apply However, as a general matter an employer is not required to pay accrued vacation benefits under Pennsylvania law. They may however be obligated to pay the benefits if an employment contract or company policy requires. You should discuss the details of any situation with an attorney. If you are not paid wages you can file a complaint with the Dept of Labor here: www.dlisecureweb.pa.gov/BLLC/Pages/CTS/LAW_WP_detail.aspx
