They don't let you cry In a pillow Apparently it's a suicide attempt... Here's a fact. When you sleep. You got to sleep on your pillow.. so when your sleeping on your pillow. So is it a suicide attempt... I hate the staff. . I don't like Mr C... I was in his unit I know couple people from my school. . They was here for couple months.. Disgusting food.. They prescribed me meds that made me act out.. .. plus I hated the doctor...

The program itself is basic. When group is a "check in", it's a copout. Most of the staff has an attitude. And the nursing station ppl don't care if you're dying, just do it in your room. Also, they lost my phone, smh. I would NOT recommend.

I was sent here by my housing during one of my psychotic episodes. I was one of those patients who probably appeared past the point of no hope and I probably shouldn't have asked to leave early because I was still in some level of psychosis when they had no choice but to let me go back to where I stayed. With that being said, in retrospect, this was probably the best ward I went to in Philadelphia. They somehow got me to comply with psych medication and though it ended up not being the ideal type for me, I can tell thought was put into what I'd at least tolerate and start my journey moving forward. I am less traumatized by my stay here than some of the other places. I can tell they truly did want me to get better because they were trying to have me referred to a different facility to give me rehabilitation which I desperately needed. Had I been less psychotic, I may have cooperated more with staff and taken them up on that wonderful opportunity. Then I may not have lost independent housing and had to be moved to a residential rehab for people who are profoundly removed from reality. My only definite complaint was their attitude while taking my picture. It was embarrassing and scary for me because I was having a lot of technology based delusions. Perhaps bear this in mind when admitting and dealing with psychotic patients in the future. The woman who did my blood work wasn't all that nice either. I remember being treated with more patience than I deserved overall, though. I saw a review complaining about the food but when I went, I was able to eat it even though I have a slightly irritable bowel. At least at this ward I wasn't having delusions about what they were serving me. The attitude of the ladies serving our meals definitely helped. I just wanted to finally say thank you. Had I not been sent here, I'm not sure if I'd be doing as well as I am today.

When i was there they let my puke sit in my bathroom for three days. It took me calling my mom and having her tell them to get it cleaned up to even clean it. And thats after i ate the food that i puked. I had a roommate who me and her couldnt even use our own bathroom or shower
Because everyone has a right to privacy and some of the parents may be the reason the people are having a crisis anyway.

Good luck thats impossible .also against hipp laws. The place needs to be investagated asap.
It's a violation of patient rights to refuse telephone use. You should look at the dhs investigations at this place.
No. Not a good place at all. Unless there's any type of reason you want to get beat up and drugged until you can't speak.
Depends on which one, there are many different programs. But a good guide is if you aren't involuntarily committed for mental health it's about 28 days. I heard a guy was there for 48 days and I know a young guy was only there 14 days bc of insurance. But let me just repeat myself if you're not involved terribly committed for mental health reasons the average stay is most certainly 28 days
They need to sign themselves out, prefferably today. Or they can roll the dice and wait until Friday morning. Signing yourself out me and you are free with in 72 hours unless they decide to take you to court and try and prove you are a danger to yourself or others. See a thing is if you do it around 11:15 a.m.. on Friday they really don't have time to bring those actions but I know it's only Monday so but most likely you know just sign your herself out and then she'll be out within 3 days. Now I'm not guaranteeing that because they can always go for you no involuntary committal but as long as she can keep herself together she'll be out 72 hours

I don't know why your son is in there, but if you can have some kind of after care programs in place. A therapist for him to talk to, your chances might increase. I know if he is 14 or older there are different guidelines. Good luck. This place is horrendous.
You should try Belmont. I read in their site that they treat co-occuring mental illness and substance abuse or dependency.
Taz ghost do exist but they are harmless.
No. In fact I went through three days of literal Hell whatever hell is cannot be worse than what I went through cuz I was already low on methadone in my body from spending a day in the hospital and they gave me 40 whole milk mg of where they transferred me and I managed to hat 2 in my you know socket and stashed away somewhere the whole time because it was all I had left I was way ahead and go to a clinic I I get them for paint but you know yeah 3 days without any and then there was the day with 20 mg under my prescribed dose which I never take my prescribed to this anyway and it's 3 days with absolutely nothing and woke up on the fourth day and I was going to kill someone to get out of there but I had to even on the third day the doctor Vega felt so sorry for me that she wrote a prescription for one-time-only dose of my hundred and 20 migs of prescribed methadone and the pharmacy who are just a bunch of pill jockeys wouldn't let her do it and I f****** went ballistic I trashed the pla
they have caller ID. Once they know who you are, they ignore you. I've been calling for a week
If it was YOUR puke , why didn't you clean it up before 3 day's, your just as disgustingly lazy ....
I have left a message and no response from the doctor. There was a release signed and I'm still not getting threw. Patient has called home up until I raised concerns.
