Will not be returning to this hotel. I have been to this hotel numerous times and have always had great experiences. Elevators broken, long wait times. Unable to go to rooftop as a hotel guest, running out of food for in-room service. Not sure what’s going on here but I will be staying elsewhere for any of my future DTLA stays!!!

Unfortunately, I will never use this hotel again. The view from the 70F lobby is beautiful, but since the accommodation floor is on a lower floor, you can only see the view hidden in the next building. The biggest problem is the need to transfer elevators. Although the direct elevator moves at high speed from the 1st floor to the 70th floor, it is necessary to transfer to the low-speed elevator to go to the accommodation floor from there, which is quite stressful. It takes about 2 seconds per floor. It takes about 5 minutes just to go down to the ground and return to the room after noticing the forgotten item. In addition, the cups in the room are plastic instead of glass, the minibar does not open, there is no kettle, and the knobs in the shower and washroom are designed to impair practicality. In the end, it's a balance with accommodation costs, but in my experience, the cost performance is a pretty bad category.

The staff is very nice and professional, but our experience has not been the best. My grandmother and I made our reservation 5 or 6 months ago and specified that we needed a 2-queen bed, ADA room with a roll-in shower (she is elderly and I have a bad ankle). They said the room would be assigned at check in. I asked if a room could be assigned sooner since this was a must-have and the answer was no. We kept the reservation thinking we would be taken care of. I guess the good rooms are given out first-come first-served because we checked in around 8pm and were given a 1-king bed room with a twin size roll-away bed. There is a roll-in shower, but no microwave or fridge in the room. And the room is on a lower floor with almost no view. They said the other rooms were already given to guests who checked in earlier. Very disappointing given the price we paid and what we thought we’d have reserving so far in advance. This definitely feels like a downgrade. I would not say that the hotel is the most accommodating for the handicapped/people with special needs. I might give it another shot if I’m traveling with others my age, and if someone is able to be here right at check in for a better room.

I lost my watch bands set there ... they were in the room and suddenly were gone after room service that I didnot request (had privacy sign on). Hotel is great and in great location otherwise!

Yes you can go to enjoy the beautiful location that they have right at center of down tow los ángeles and they have a great bar at the lobby and very happy personal . Thank you for your interest to visit intercontinental hotel
It has the highes vertically seving alcohol bar in the western hemisphere and also as stated earlier by Stacey the tallest building aside from Chicago Sears tower. For the immediate future yes a person not a guest of the hotel can go up, so long as tact and decorum are used so as to not affect others in future visits.

Yellow Zones are free on Sundays. There's a yellow zone on the west side of the hotel in between 7th and wilshire.
as far as i know, kal (hanjin) owns the property and it is operated by IHG
If you go to View, you do not want to recommend food. haha

Definitely one of the best...but that's a matter of perspective.

There is a test location on the street there by Target location. It is very close to the intercontinental hotel.

If you are referring to the BonaVista lounge, yes. It is still open.
There was not when I stayed there recently, just a fancy cappuccino maker, no coffee either. However, this is the type of hotel that will bend over backwards to accommodate guests, if you ask I'm pretty sure they would have it in your room waiting for you.
