Very helpful friendly staff. Helped us decide where to eat on the water on a Sunday evening when a lot of places were closed. The room was just right. Small but had everything we needed. It was well designed with a handy place to put our overnight bag. This small feature is seldom if ever found. We planned to charge our electric car overnight but the chargers were blocked by parked cars so we couldn't use them.

First the room we stayed in still had carpet. That’s really my only gripe about this place. For a hotel that allows animals that’s been recently renovated you’d think they would have put down some vinyl plank. The front desk gentleman that checked us in was very professional and friendly. He offered suggestions for food around the area. The room itself was nice for a place to sleep. I do feel like the room was priced way higher than the room was worth but I think it’s fair market price for the area. I don’t feel as though I would feel the same if it was more muggy weather. The breakfast bar doesn’t offer hot scrambled eggs or any kind of meat. If you’re geared more towards protein intake you’re fairly limited. They do offer a scrambled egg in a bag that you can microwave but it’s was just a no for me because I didn’t want to risk a bathroom emergency on our busy day. The pool area is nice. It has a hot tub by the pool and then another hot tub in an offset area for adults. There is also a sauna which was nice to warm us back up after getting out of the hot tub. I would also like to add if you plan a lot of activities in Munising stay there, I was suggested to stay in Marquette and the drive back and forth was about 40-50 minutes one way. Overall the room was a great place to sleep but I wouldn’t stay there if you plan on hanging out at the hotel.

The staff was great- friendly and helpful. They let us keep our bicycles in their ski room. The hot tub and pool were great- 2 reasons we chose the hotel. The room was perfect 4 our needs.love the paintings/pictures.

I read the reviews regarding the beds and the breakfast. After staying there this past weekend I decided it best to correct the record. The bed was very comfortable (I was worried it was going to be some hard cheap bed...not true!) I also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. They had waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola and other cereals along with muffins, rolls, juice and fresh coffee. The hotel was completely booked, and the kitchen staff worked hard to keep the breakfast area fully stocked. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was recently renovated, very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.
