I gave him 60 dollars for 2 nights then after we set up out tents he came by our campsite to ask for more money because we had 4 people he wanted 30 dollars a night for 2 people then 10 dollars for each extra person. These tent camp grounds have 4 cinderblocks for a "fire ring" no electricity no trees and not all of them have picnic tables. Last year he charged 15 dollars a night

I was amazed at service, the pull through sites and fire pit! Bathrooms are clean and large, also separate showers. To top it all off, they have a laundry! Yes the campground is new, so the plant life is sparse, but saplings are planted. If you put all the good it has to offer you just try topping how close you are to Lake Superior. Need I say more!

Words can't convey the horror and nausea I felt when entering this campground. I don't know where the posted pictures came from but clearly it's not from this dirt field. There are no picnic tables, cement of any kind or cable tv. The antena channels are mostly pixels. Of course it's raining so now we have mud instead of just dirt. We were supposed to be here for three nights but are leaving as soon as we find another campground.....even if we lose the money we paid. It is now 5 months later and I've had time to think about my harsh review. My initial shock was due to the following: I'm a bouji girl....used to frills and comfort....not a camper It was my first visit to the UP and I have no idea if all the campgrounds are that rustic The weather was horrible and put me in a very crabby mood.

This is a fairly new campground so it still has quite a bit of work yet to be done. The bath house is quite large and is pretty decently furnished, and there are laundry facilities available here as well. The sites all have electric, water, and sewer connections but the biggest problem is the sites are way to close together. And there hasn't been any grass planted yet, so I'm guessing it would be pretty sloppy if there was a good rain.
