When I got home from work yesterday there was a flood in my apartment. I called the emergency number and Adan was there in less than 5 minutes. He worked for an hour and a half until the problem was resolved and cleaned up. Big thanks to Adan and VATL for always raking care of their tenants.

So far my experience with Vintage at the Lakes has been absolutely wonderful! Jennifer helped me more than ANY other leasing agent at ANY other apartment community I visited. And I've been to at least 10 in the last few weeks. She's an angel. If you need someone to hear your personal situation and actually help you into a beautiful apartment, please go see her. I move in the 31st! My daughter and I are so excited!

Edit (three years later): Everything I said below stands. I will say though, they raised my rent over $500 in one month. Before that it was $40 or $50, so it was a very unpleasant surprise. Also, make sure to give over 45 -60 days notice when vacating, they charged me over $200 for being three days over on their timeline; mind you, I still gave them two months notice. I wasn't very happy. Also, really keep track of any wristbands or extra stuff they give you, they'll want it back on move out and charge you if you don't have it. I really loved it here, but I am also a little sad that I was essentially pushed out. If you can afford it, great, you'll be really happy here. I really like living here. I've been here about three months now. The complex is cared for and pretty quiet. The apartment I am in is not renovated but it works just fine for me. The space is very spread out, I've had multiple friends comment on the large living area. I love the size of the balcony, as well. Everything was functional when I moved in. I had to do a bit of mopping and wiping down when I moved in but I figure that's par for the course and other than that it was clean. I saw other places, about 15 more, and honestly, for the price, this was the best one. There's little issues here and there but the office has been friendly and really taken care of things. I hope to stay here for awhile. I also love the location. It's really easy to get anywhere and has a ton of amenities around it.

5/28/2022 For the same price we are in a beautiful big house. Although our journey with this mess isn't over, we have a MUCH better quality of life. 05/02/2022 They had the audacity to send our family an email suggesting the mold that came from the upstairs unit that created mold was our fault and our burden to fix. As if somehow it is suddenly legal for a tenant to hire a 3rd party business to come in and open their walls. We WILL see them in court. DO NONT TRUST THEM! NANCY IS THE WORST MANAGER I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! They take responsibility for nothing but instead attempt to send manipulative emails in response to your complaints suggesting that you caused your issue!!! RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!! ALL PUBLIC RESPONSES ARE TO SAVE FACE THEY BEHAVE DIFFERENTLY BEHIND THE SCENES!!!!!!!!!! Upate #2 04/12/2022 They have now sent an unsigned 30 day pay or quit ( backdated for 2 days before they shoved it into my door, after I told them a Lawyer would be in contact due to outlandish fees. This is after they broke the lease contract by adding those fees as retaliation for us exercising our right to not sign the release of claims they sent via email. In response to this, they tacked on fees ( breaking our lease agreement ) and we never agreed to sign any release as a stipulation of this transfer. We needed t transfer due to THEIR mold problem. They are doing nothing but attempting to bully my family. And we will not have it. UPDATE TO Julies response: You spelled my name wrong trying to be cute. I called you on Friday, haven't heard back. Trying to publicly save your image? Also, You didn't give us a new home, we pay more rent no thanks to you! We had to move thanks to your bad units! Again, no thanks to you! Ah Also you just told Nancy to tell us AFTER SINGING THE LEASE to add fees to force us to sign a release of claims in which we have sent all info to our lawyer. You wanna talk to me? Talk to my lawyer. But do not fake for google. I will call you out! 0 out of 5 stars! We experienced multiple leaks from our upstairs neighbors unit. Got proof that mold was indeed in the Unit after telling them we suspect mold, fear for our safety, and are unsatisfied. We move into a new unit and let me be clear, they did us no favors. This "transfer" was us paying prorated rent as anyone would moving I the last week of the month,to move because of their negligence with 3 days to clear our items. But then, they send us a settlement offer to make it all go away as long as we agreed to be quiet. Never speak to anyone about it ever with a trade off of a small cash payment. We declined to sign the settlement offer, so they are now trying to charge us a transfer fee without having disclosed that would be a stipulation in advance in an attempt to corner us. They are misleading, liars. And I promise you any response to this is to protect their own image, not assist us. This is the worst rental experience of my life. Vintage is not worth it.
