I have a very uncomfortable experience as an African-American male at this dump I suggest of your African-American and you go to this dump to be very careful I was followed around and harassed I had a very horrible experience and I don’t want anyone else to have this experience.

The North County landfill on Harney ln. Is open everyday from 7am to 4pm except for a few holidays according to their website. The 4pm closing time means they want to lock the gate at 4pm so getting there by 3:30 pm is a good idea to have time to unload and get out by 4pm.

The North County facility is currently accepting treated wood. Rates will vary depending on the condition and volume of the load and pricing will range from "normal" rates to "special handling" waste rates based upon the scale house's determination. Generally, SMALL loads of treated wood (cut at less than 5 feet) will be charged normal rates. Large loads and irregular wood may be subject to higher rates at the scale house's discretion. Wood that is hazardous (pressure-treated) or hard to manage (large spools, stumps, etc.) may be accepted on a case by case basis.
