Do not order fish. I never do bad reviews but this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Apparently it was a very very old frozen filet with no fish taste. It was raw inside and the breading was awful with an old bad taste. Could not eat it. The fish was watery and didn’t taste like fish. It came with no sides. Quite expensive for what you get. Had to order fries and pay extra. I’ll never go back.

Food not great but very good. Service fantastic. Simple no frills place for a good meal. Understandable that they've been around forever. Always consistent.

This place is a staple in Carbondale. The staff is friendly and make you feel like part of their family. My experiences here are always great. Make sure you try the biscuits and gravy!
