Has changed over the years. A bit more pricey now than it is worth. The meats are just so-so, they cover everything in their sauce so that is pretty much what you are tasting.

Has always been my favorite restaurant. I was on a road trip to Binghamton and had to stop for lunch at Brooks BBQ. Food is awesome and fair priced.

Two stars for prices and service. The food is still good but like some reviews here I agree 100% that their prices are as if they were a $$$$ restaurant in Manhattan. No waitress/waiter, you pick you after yourself, and the sit down management is just awful with no intention to make your experience worth coming to. I really wish they shut down indoor dining and lower the prices. You’re fleecing the locals and tourists. Stop doing that. If people stop coming perhaps they might change, but too many addicted to their food keeps them coming. I would suggest just order chicken without making it a meal and it will be a lot cheaper. Owners should be ashamed of themselves on how they have made Brooks BBQ. It’s gonna become like the Farm House down the street. A once upon a time great place to eat. Lastly, what happened to your coleslaw? It’s a super garlic flavor!? I thought it was COVID that jacked me up but reading comments here some have said the same thing. I thought it was me but apparently not.

Brooks is an Oneonta classic that seems to have lost its way. I have been heading to Brook's for over 30 years. However, my last visit was a disappointment to be sure. The place has changed, I understand price increases and that restaurants in general are having staffing problems. This is no longer a full service restaurant, yet maintains full service pricing. The prices have gone way up, the level of service has gone way down. If you like serving yourself, cleaning up after yourself and paying a lot more to do it then this place is for you. I won't be returning.

They have a bunch of different sauces
You don't need reservations, just walk right in, also you can get take out at the front inside window, that's pretty quick.
This time of year you should have no problem
Dogs are allowed outside and people bring dogs there often.
Call for take out, curbside pickup, limited seating inside. I have been pretty cautious and only eaten out a couple times. I felt comfortable there.
Yes, you order at take out window then get a number go to sanitized table and they bring out the food.
No. Take out only. But they do have tables setup so you can eat outside. They also put a trailer with men and ladies rooms.
I think they are open the same time
Call them or Google it.
No it's closed, the only Mondays it is open is Labor Day and Memorial Day
I reheat any leftover chicken in the microwave for 30 to 40 seconds on High Power.
Yes. Spaced out for safety and order your food at the takeout counter first
Yes you can!! But need to pre-order in the lobby and they will bring food where you are sitting.
I don't work there...a Customer.....
They're only doing take-out currently but they do have a few picnic tables outside!
Best place to get an answer would probably be through one of the "contact us" methods found on their website. You can call or email them. Good luck :-)
I was there last week and they had a really nice picnic area outside and the food was fantastic as usual.
Not at the moment. I believe they will be available during phase 4 of reopening.
Brooks is named for the family that owns the business.
