Bowdoin is currently open from 8:00am until 9:00pm

During the week if you arrive by 1 or 2 you should be able to grab a table. Don't forget her swimsuit and water shoes. They have a sprinkler system for the little ones. Oh and bug spray. Lots of deer tick in the area.

You only need to reserve space for The Pavilions those are those open house structures with tables underneath. In some parks you need to tell the officials if you're going to have more than 25 people I don't know about Bowdoin Park.

No biking on trails in the park

There is no off leash area for dogs. Bowdoin requires all dogs to be on a 6 ft leash at all times including on the trails. This is for the safety and courtesy of all the patrons who want to enjoy this wonderful park without concern of an off leash dog.

Wappingers is doing fireworks next weekend during community days (community day move from Sept) celebrations being held at WJHS.

From park website:     Splash Pad opens for the season Saturday May 25th. Hours are 11am until 6pm every day until Labor Day I don't know why the delay. Perhaps it has something to do with BBQ event being held there?
