There is no off leash area for dogs. Bowdoin requires all dogs to be on a 6 ft leash at all times including on the trails. This is for the safety and courtesy of all the patrons who want to enjoy this wonderful park without concern of an off leash dog.
Must have a leash but you'll see some dogs without. I recommend a leash just to avoid any issues.
Different parts of the park are dog friendly, open grass areas. So it depends on the area...
Dog friendly for a TAMED Well Behaved dog. The park can get crowded and with kids running around, food ok tables. Doubt too many will be crazy about dogs running around without a leash.
Didn't see one. But it's a state park, there is lots area...
