I greatly enjoyed my stay in Tevere’s dorm-style accommodations. Ryan and his staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I stayed in early summer, and the location was perfect for hiking, fishing, biking, and climbing. The drinks were a must-try — Justin, the bartender, is very knowledgable and has created a menu of old classics with a modern twist. I look forward to revisiting on my next trip to Vermont.

Had an awesome stay. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The full bar is really great, there's also a kitchen on site. The room was clean, well-kept and air conditioned. Beautiful area close to ski resorts and some incredible hikes. This hostel is located near the center of the state and is only maybe an hour from Burlington. Theres also a swimming hole less than 5 minutes from the hostel itself. Definitely staying here again when I am back out to Vermont.

Perfect place to stay if you’re skiing MRG or Sugarbush! Great vibe, and shockingly good food for a place that’s also a hostel. The restaurant and bar are NOT secondary to the hostel, but epically amazing on their own. Great hangout spot with couches and a fireplace to dry your ski gear.

Will Brokhof

This is my local now. I overlooked it for several years because I didn't realize they had such a great kitchen or bar. Don't make that mistake. They don't have much on the menu - but they do it well. Best burger in the upper valley IMO. The bar and tenders are great. I send all my guests from Vermont Backcountry Cottages to the HT for dinner.
