Skiing wasn't the best but that's mother nature's fault, it snowed but the wind was heavy and they shut down the lifts early. Ticketing and lift lines were efficient but the lifts were slow, didn't seem like high speed quads. This whole experience cost $185 for a single day ticket, also had to park far away and shuttle so in all I got less than four hours on the slopes for that price.

Nice expansive mountain with diverse terrain to ski. Can get really cold which can turn the snow into hard pack. Lodge and dining options are clean and well kept. Things can get a little pricey so if you can scoop up a lift ticket on the cheap it’ll make the costs of beer less painful. Luckily, Lawson’s Finest Liquids is a short drive away for post skiing beers.

Beautiful Ski resort. It has something for everyone. We were lucky to get 12 inches of fresh powder while we were there!

Finally revisited Sugarbush since i was last there in 1986 for a HS ski trip. Things have changed quite a bit, and for the better - i was able to order my lift ticket online for instance. When i arrived, they checked me in quickly, and the guys in the rental department were helpful in getting me the proper skis & boots, and i was out the door quickly. It was early in the season around Dec 20, so there were naturally a smaller number of lifts & trails open, and they were making snow too, but skiing & service was good, and what i had expected.

Yes
Yes! It is called the school house! As soon as you get to the ticket window, it will be the building on your right! Have a blast! Take care! :D ❤💚
I was there not long ago. I can't speak to 49 but there were 2 other properties being developed when there.
One deal you may like: the quad pack - 4 all-mountain day passes for around $280, no blackouts. The catch: it's for sale only in November (ish).
They have discounts for college students
4 pack / quad pack already went on sale. They are non transferable so maybe not as good as the other passes already mentioned but if you know you'll only be skiing Sugarbush they are a good value. My wife and I bought two each.
Yes they do, and they start after 12pm.
8 to 4
Usually a few lifts open at 8:00 am, with the rest coming on at 9:00. Upper mountain lifts close at 3:45, the lower ones at 4:00 pm. No night skiing that I know of. Check the snow report on the sugarbush website for details specific to a particular day!
Use the Single Chair Weather Blog if you want a very technical local snow forecast.
