If you’re looking for a place to get sober that has a foundation that’s built around the twelve steps, where recovery comes first I highly recommend new house. Grant and his staff are awesome!

Pretty much saved my life. I moved to Santa Barbara from Bakersfield looking for a sober living house and to be closer to my sponsor. I Googled and visited about 4 sober living places and after visiting several, New House 2 was the choice I was and still am happy I chose. It's a 12 step House where the really focus on sobriety. Working a program and getting a sponsor is something very important here. The food is great and the brotherhood is great as well. I've met alot after guys here that really make this alot easier then I thought. Don't get me wrong. I was a little nervous making the transition. But after a day or so, I'm very much pleased to say. New House 2 is my home.

If your looking for recovery in a sober living home it doesn’t get much better than New House 2. First off the location in amazing, blocks away from the ocean and beautiful downtown Santa Barbara, making anything they don’t provide (which isn’t much) easily accessible. They give the perfect balance of structure and freedom I really needed in my early recovery, keeping me accountable while still being able to explore a newly sober world and self. The best part for me is having miles of waterfront seriously four blocks away making it super easy to find a beautiful, quiet spot to reflect or meditate. I seriously owe these guys my life, with out them I don’t know where I would be today....

Newhouse client fees are 31 dollars a day. With these we are able to provide three balanced daily meals, cable tv, internet and lodging as well as structure designed to complement a persons pursuit of recovery.

In order to get into Newhouse II one must call us and set up an interview with a manager. Starting the process is as easy as that!
