it has a very clean ,secluded and private beach feel to it. liked how it had a cosy charming vibe. away from crowd and unneeded attraction.

Beautiful State Park on the beach where dogs are allowed! The beach is clean and the Park Ranger was such a pleasant and welcoming guy. He was happy to tell us the Park has a portion that is Dog-Friendly.The restrooms were clean and super well kept

Clean beautiful beach with protected dunes. One of my favorite places to be. Easy access to beach and lots of parking.

Clean beach. Not crowded. Pet friendly. It was perfect to go to during our vacation, our pup and daughter enjoyed their day at the beach.

Very true..alot of people are very dirty.. it's nit the animals it's the people
there is a section set aside for pets....to the left....have used it every year .......DEFINITELY OPEN for PETS in the SUMMER.....only time we CV ever go.
Question for the park staff, not Google Maps customers
Yes, but pay attention to the signs. Part of the beach is pet friendly and part is not.
Probably not, but there may be a work around. You can drive on the beach if you have four wheel drive, a DE fishing license and pole holders with the rods sticking out...
Yes you can as long as you have the ability to pick up waste and have a leash
Museum ocean side between rt 1 and dewey
When I go to Fenwick Island beach I do not have to pay. I understand there is a section for the state park. I do not know if there is a parking fee there or an admission fee but I just park on the streets in Fenwick Island and I walk onto the beach. It is my understanding DE beaches r free.
Yes, restrooms and showers, concession stand with food or bring a cooler.
No, not bayside, but oceanside , yes!
$10, out of state, for the day.
They do have camp sites by the inlet but I belive the park closes at dark. Sorry you can only stay from dawn to dusk.
We've gone every summer for the last 24 years. Nice wide beaches. There are some sandbars that seen to move a bit each year. Life guards can point you to shallowest areas. Of course watch the weather reports. Off coast storms make some rough waves. And you want to check the tide times, that can make a big difference too. Have a great time!
It's only 10 dollars to get in and it's worth it the beach is really nice
I believe the hours listed are the hours when lifeguards are present. Outside of those hours, the beach is open, patrolled occasionally by FIBP, but they won't bother you unless you are doing something clearly illegal (fireworks, un-permitted bonfire, kegger, etc.) And of course, solo ocean swimming when no lifeguards are present is never a good idea.
Not sure..you could call and ask
I would think so. On our last trip we saw a Sup paddler.
I swam in it last weekend for a few hours. Good surf, fairly clear, clean, and no smell.
At the walk up part of the state park there are restrooms and showers. If you do the drive on beach you have to walk up to the bathhouse. But it's not a far walk.
Beach is always open, lifeguards go on duty at 10am!
I'm not sure about fenwick island I think rehoboth
I doesn't matter as long as you clean up after it
You can, but you shouldn't
You need a vehicle pass to drive on any Delaware beach. There are no day passes, it is strictly enforced, you must have certain equipment with you and be actively fishing
Are there beach rentals? Umbrellas and chairs?
Wasn't this already answered in the other identical question...
Metal detector is fine... camp at a campground
