We have loved the Jeweler’s Bench for its quality and friendly customer service for 18 years! Dan was able to create a custom wedding band and we have purchased other pieces as well. We tell all our family members to go there! Thanks for taking great care of us, all these years!

I'm actually super happy we went here. I had some old gold jewelery to sell and had never done it or knew anything about it. Dan taught us about different things about it along the way and it was a really good experience! I'll definitely be returning for other jewelry needs! Definitely be patient. It's a small business and not a big chain store. So they don't have the staffing and takes a bit longer, but it's worth the wait!

I purchased a gold wedding band to replace the original one which my husband lost. This happened several months before our fiftieth wedding anniversary. What better gift for a golden wedding anniversary than a gold wedding band. Dan had enlarged the original some time previously so he had a picture of the it and had kept a record of the new size. This was very helpful because this gift is to be a surprise. I chose a ring and a design. Dan stayed late at work and handcrafted the design onto the ring, it looks beautiful, the price was right, and all this was accomplished within 24 hours! Much appreciation goes to Dan for his great dedication to his customers.

I had a ring repaired. The work was done faster than expected and looks great.

This is very common for silver jewelry and it is called tarnishing. The good news is that tarnish only occurs on the surface and can be polished away. If you want your white metal jewelry to not tarnish, opt for white gold or platinum- neither of these metals will tarnish.
Rhodium plating is necessary to achieve a bright white finish on white gold. White golds true color is off white. Since gold comes out of the ground yellow, we add white alloys to it to create white gold. Since we can never achieve a perfect bright white, white gold gets plated with a thin coat of rhodium, a rare metal that is a member of the platinum group.
If you have old jewelry lying around that you arent wearing, lets use it to make a custom piece! We can repurpose all of your precious gemstones and diamonds. We cannot use the gold or metal in the actual custom piece, but we can offer credit for it and that will count toward your new piece. If you prefer to keep the gold but use the stones, we will carefully remove all stones and return the gold to you.
The best metal varies on a case by case basis. The most cost effective are the 14kt golds. If you are ordering a band and do not trust yourself with an expensive ring, start with sterling silver. If you are allergic to most metals, go with platinum.
Comfort fit is rounded on the inside, making it easier to slide on and off. Most of our wide bands come in comfort fit. Comfort fit tends to fit large, so if you are an 8 in a regular fit, you may be closer to a 7.5 or 7.75 in comfort fit.
If you are in Provo, you may come by our show room to get sized. If not, any local jewelry store should offer free sizing. When you get sized, take note of which type of sizers they used- thin, wide or comfort fit (comfort fit means that they are rounded on the inside). Some jewelers will not have quarter sizes like we do, but will be able to determine if you need a quarter size or not.
