This is the absolute worst setup. I can not reach a live person, nor can I set up an "appointment". All I need is a copy of the 1098 form so that I can give it to my tax advisor. I have been trying to procure this for a month. I cannot get a copy of it, nor can my child. Are they expecting me to drive 3 hours just to talk to a person and get a copy of it??? Just awful. Completely unacceptable.

I have never dealt with a college Dept that is more unorganized and incompetent. The miscommunication in the Dept and to us has been ridiculous. It seems no one in the Dept talks to one another or passes info to one another. I have three college degrees and a teaching credential, all of which I got with financial aid. I never had any problems. I’m a community college professor, and my students never report problems like this. The only saving grace is the financial aid director does quickly respond to emails. However, it seems he is not making notes of our communication.

I’ve tried calling and emailing several times this month and no one is getting back to me. They aren’t open to visit either? My financial aid is being revoked on a technical issue that could be easily solved if they would do their jobs and make themselves available. At this point I’m going to have to drop out because I can’t afford tuition without my financial aid. So unorganized and difficult for no reason and not even an attempt at transparency with the students.
