Beautiful campground in the White Mountain state forest. Russell pond great for canoes, paddle boards. Boat ramp available. Campsites are widely separated and feels private. No hookups. At night, quite dark and allows for beautiful night sky star viewing. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Flush toilets. Conviently located near the Kanacangas scenic highway.

Had a great time. Very quiet and dog friendly. I had site A7 which was secluded from other sites. Close enough to the bathrooms and showers. But you had to go down 28 stairs to get to the site, so a bit of a "hike". I was here with my boyfriend and we had no problem but I don't recommend this site if you don't like stairs. I enjoyed my stay at Russell pond and I will be back! :)

The campground is great, spacious and surrounded by trees. The pond is in walking distance. Some campsites are just beside the pond. Every campsite has table and fire pit. The bathroom is clean and hot shower ($2.5) is available. The host provides 3 bundle of firewoods at $22. The tent site is $25 per night.

The campground was clean and quiet. We were welcomed by Glen and Paige the hosts, who are so nice! The bathrooms are spotless. The sites are raked and well maintained. The pond is beautifully situated among the trees. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. Relaxing and serene, just the way camping is supposed to be. Definitely recommend this campground. We will be going back!

Yes
Yes, the are pet friendly.
No cards are accepted on the premises. If you make reservations on recreation.gov credit cards accepted there. I believe about 60% of the sites are available online for reservation
Hi. Yes it does, I recently camped there and have Verizon. My service worked well.
They don't close. Bring quarters it costs $2.50 for 5 minutes and they only take quarters.
Your reserved sight should already have your name on it. You can go straight to it but recommend checking in after you set up. Its an awesome spot. Ejoy. The hosts are awesome people.
Reserved sites are check in at 2 pm. Walk up sites are first come. See the Host on site if you have further questions.
Quiet hours start at 10p, and I'm pretty sure that is the end of visitation hours as well
And people are stupid
On each site there is a sign that reads reserved or open.
Silent. Except on raceday Sunday. Check mountain race track schedule. Totally remote.
Yes, with amber waves of grain!
Yes! My family usually has 2 tents .
So try and get there early ( like thursday) if weekend camping if being able to launch kayak from your site is important to you. G 6 is a really good site for that
