Interesting place, both gift shop and history adventure. There's a cool fact area with a huge moose is it a real moose?? I want to know lol, anyways cute merch and snacks and great pee spot. Oh also u can learn about a ton of places in the area and yeah meggie likey! Meggie approve.

Star Bourboli

This visitor center is a really nice addition to a low-key vacation in the White Mountains. They have a quaint gift shop as well as a museum, and my all-time favorite elongated smooshed pennies. The staff was very friendly and offered to answer any questions that I might have. There was an interesting topographical map of the region on display which really helps to see what an interesting place that the White Mountains truly are. Definitely recommend a family stop here if you've never been to the area, and a great place to stop before making the rest of your vacation plans.

Very friendly staff, and right at the start of the most scenic highway in New Hampshire. Gift shop has everything you're looking for when it comes to the White Mountains.

The staff was so very helpful. We asked about covered bridges and we got maps. We asked about changing season. We got the colors and what trees they come from. Plus where to eat. And we got it all. Great place to stop!
