SENT ITEM BACK REGISTERED MAIL AFTER HAVING 2 CERTIFIED JEWELERY APRAISERS LOOK AT IT. THEY BOTH TOLD ME IN SO MA Y WORDS THAT THEY WOULD NOT PUT SUCH JUNK IN THEIR SHOWCASE. FIELD'S AUCTION REFUSED TO GIVE ME A CREDIT ON IT. THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. I EVEN LEFT MESSAGE TELLING THEM TO JUST RETURN ITEM TO ME AND I GUESS I'D JUST HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. DOZENS OF CALLS AND EMAILS. THEY WOULD NOT RETURN ITEM TO ME OR ISSUE ME A CREDIT OR EVER EVEN TALK WITH ME. GIA CERTIFICATE WAS EXTREMELY EXAGGERATED. THEIVES.

Guess what you should check out as much as you can on any purchase you plan on bidding on. I brought several vehicles from Fields and have been very happy with them. Check out the item you are interested in and bid wisely. Fields backs up their part of the deal but does not no all about the item. That's your job. But Peter has always been most helpful and always backed his part of the transaction. Recently IN have my first bad experience with Peter. I gave him a painting which was worth some real money and never got paid. I asked several times with no results. Soon after words I entered the hospital for cancer and never asked again. Iike Peter and am sorry that I had this one experience with him.In the past I have brought a lot of products includfing severaql vehicles I have always been happy with him and sorry that this happened. vince
