Such a great place to go walking with a friend or sit quietly alone. The trails are so accessible and well groomed even people who have a hard time on uneven terrain can have an easy walk surrounded by beautiful wildlife. Wheelchair accessible with ramps on the bathrooms.

Love to come here. I see something different every time I go here. Its great because most of the walking trails are maintained well, flat, and there are nice restrooms, water available and some great educational things for adults and kids. Just started birding here about close to two years ago. People are friendly and I feel safe. Love the outdoors

So many birds flying around everywhere!! It felt like you were in a Snow White movie with all the animals flying around, bunnies hopping across the path, lizards slithering around, it was great!

The Autobahn Society Sea & Sage location is a picturesque and tranquil setting amongst the surrounding Newport metropolitan area‘s. There are miles of easy-stroll walking paths around large ponds which attract a wide variety of waterfowl and other local aquatic and lakeside animals.

Would be very rare
Dogs are not allowed at San Joaquin Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. It is posted several places throughout.
No
Yes, there are nature walks every month.
Yes, that is what you had
It's a wonderful place for bird watching and photography
No, dogs are not allowed. Signs are posted stating this. Bringing dogs into a wildlife sanctuary stresses out the wildlife that call this area home. Something to consider when you take your dog outdoors: dogs often pick up ticks/fleas and other things that can then be transferred on to you or your family. I have two dogs and I keep them in the yard at all times, which keeps them healthier. A few years back I had a dog, Lucky, that caught something from a dog at a dog park. It cost about $2,000 in vet bills and Lucky didn't live past six years.
They are native to AK, and are seen in far northern CA, but are very rare in Southern California. No records in OC.
