I had a great experience at We Level Up. I was there just under 3 weeks as I opted for detox and residential since I planned on going home afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The beds are super comfy and the facility is well maintained. However, the techs and recovery coaches made the biggest impact in my opinion. I’m celebrating 60 days sober this Sunday, and am so grateful for that experience.

There are some seriously excellent techs and counselors here. I definitely appreciated them and learned quite a bit from them. The facility isn't particularly comfortable, but it's reasonably well maintained and clean. The food is decent. My biggest issue is with the business and case management staff. There is little or no communication with the client on treatment plan or expectations of length of stay. They will unquestionably try to keep you as long as possible--even if you're detoxing to go to a different facility. This was my experience and the experience of many other clients there with me. They will not work with you to get you to where you need to be--they will work against you to keep you there. The professionalism of one business manager in particular was egregious and unforgivable which is tragic considering how wonderful some of the other staff can be. The end result for me was additional, unexpected time out of work and a delay in my intake of my next planned phase of recovery which to me is unacceptable.

I swear I could give this place less than one star they do not respect your privacy AT ALL!! I literally have to order a new debt card because of them. They tried to get in to my phone to get verification from my bank to drain everything I have. They also lied about having cameras in the room where they keep your belongings. The only reason none of my money was touched was because my BANK detected FRAUD!!!And had to put a BLOCK on my card. Mind you I didn’t see, have OR use my card for any purchases during my stay with them.Do not trust these people they will try and destroy your life literally!! EXPECT A LAWSUIT!!THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS A JOKE!!IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT SENDING YOUR SELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES HERE PLS RECONSIDER AND LOOK INTO ANOTHER PLACE THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR INSURANCE!! I WENT TO LU LAWRENCE NJ IF ANYBODY IN HIGH MANAGEMENT IS SEING THIS YOU HAVE A VERY BIG PROBLEM GOING ON UP THERE !!

Yes, in general, Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance covers various forms of inpatient rehab. There are multiple types of inpatient rehab, including ones with specialized programs for people struggling with substance abuse issues and co-occurring disorders. Other inpatient residential rehab centers may place emphasis on treating women who are pregnant or have recently had children or simply be gender-specific
In general, Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans do cover treatment for addiction, at least in part, but again, specifics are based on the individual policy you possess. Most plans cover treatment for medical detox if determined to be necessary. This would most likely be the case for those suffering from benzodiazepine addiction, alcohol addiction, and opiate addiction. Detoxing from these substances can be dangerous and should always be monitored by medical professionals.
The length of time that Blue Cross Blue Shield mental health insurance, or any insurance plan, will cover rehab depends on an individual’s specific health care plan and their behavioral health benefits. The length of time that someone stays in rehabilitation for mental health is also contingent upon the particular treatment program and their recommended level of care. You can find rehabs that accept blue cross blue shield insurance.
The amount of substance abuse treatment that BCBS covers is contingent upon a member’s particular plan, their desired treatments, and the provider they choose. You can discover more about your BCBS coverage by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card or calling one of our admissions navigators today.
Blue Cross Blue Shield typically covers individual therapy sessions for people with mental health conditions. BCBS insurance may cover therapy fully or partially depending upon the member’s plan. The member may still be responsible for certain additional costs of therapy, especially if they still owe money towards their deductible or are required to pay a coinsurance.
A remaining balance generally may reflect that you have not met your insurance deductible. Or that your insurance carrier requires a copay that the patient is directly responsible for. Also in some instances, there is an applicable co-insurance or the treatment service was considered a non-covered fee under your insurance benefits plan.
Your payment or balance outstanding is due immediately upon receipt.
