What a fantastic stop along our cross country road trip! I strongly recommend this as a planned stop along your routeβ€” an absolute must for my family! I will say that I do not recommend sliding down the chute, especially in the blazing heat of the Arizona summer. Unfortunately, there was no water running down the slide so my children ended up walking away with 2nd degree burns all over their arms, legs, and backs. Fortunately, there is a hospital only an hour away by car, and a quick shot of 20 minutes if you’re traveling via emergency helicopter air-lift πŸ˜…. Overall, 4/5 stars for my family, only falling short of a perfect 5/5 because my kids wouldn’t let me. πŸ˜†πŸ€¦πŸ˜Š

Best attraction this side of the Mississippi, you should not miss. Definitely deserves a place in the guide books, and needs a senic turnout sign.

We thought it was a water slide for nearby cattle to cool off on hot days. Five stars for the owner’s land reclamation efforts and archaeological sensitivity!
