This is a fun experience for any age. I bought a bucket that had sand and gemstones in it. I sifted through it using their sluice and found a number of nice gemstones.

Had a great time there. Camped for two nights and did a little gold panning both from the pay dirt and in the creek. Lots of nice quartz around too, and other cool stones to rock hound. No gold for me but fun was had. Great friendly staff. Would have stayed another night but my handicapped husband's scooter blew a tire and he would have been stuck just sitting at the campsite all day. Will go back, maybe when the weather is a little cooler.

Yes you can they have tent camping they have Mobile Trailer hookups they have cabins that they rent and several options for panning and dredging or whatever you wish to do
You can pan by the day and not have to be an overnight guest. River access is 10.00 a day and they have several river access points. I like this place and spent a week here. I am a returning prospector here, the people are great. I spent 5 days in the river and had great yields of gold. Lots of gems too. Their paydirt at the troughs actually have good gold in the piles.
Yes and great place to take the whole family. Do not wear your nice shoes and clothes or they will be ruined!
