Can you come for just a day of panning fun or do you have to be an overnight guest? If just a day visitor, can you pan in the river or limited to a trough?

You can pan by the day and not have to be an overnight guest. River access is 10.00 a day and they have several river access points. I like this place and spent a week here. I am a returning prospector here, the people are great. I spent 5 days in the river and had great yields of gold. Lots of gems too. Their paydirt at the troughs actually have good gold in the piles.

Yes! Fun for kids,and adult men with gold fever. lol Renting nice cabin for the weekend is awesome.
