Positive: Although I enjoy my stay and the Staff is always polite and friendly... Negative: The Blow Dryer was broken and looked like it was about to start a fire. There were Cock Roaches on the Kitchen Sink, and the neighbors were fighting all night long. I didn't get any sleep and had to work the next morning.

my husband booked a stay here at the extended stay in san rafael a few WEEKS ago for today (June 12, 2022 [my birthday])) and when we went to check in, they told us they didn’t have a room for us because booking.com overbooked them. i totally understand the error. what i don’t understand is why i wasn’t aware of the error until i got there. the man at the front desk said he tried reaching out to expedia 2 HOURS before we got there! we booked this trip WEEKS in advance and they didn’t reach out until 2 hours before i got there???? he said they didn’t respond and didn’t think to even CALL or contact us in any way. so now i guess we’re going home because the $185 of the $236 dollars i paid won’t be getting back to our credit card for a few days. also they’re only giving us $185 when we paid $236 and he said there’s nothing he can do about that either. we got a “sorry about that” and “yeah there’s nothing i can do for you guys about this” from the front desk. when i asked him if i could at least use the bathroom before we drive for a few hours back home, he told us he could let us, but he won’t. this trip meant a lot to us. i’ve been looking forward to this for months and it’s now ruined. happy birthday to me.

Overall this was a great stay. Super clean and spacious rooms. Felt very safe around the property. And plenty of free parking. My only gripe was that the staff was uneven in their customer support. Most of them were very kind and friendly. Others acted like they could care less if you were there. Still, minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Still a very pleasant stay overall.

Really disappointed with our experience this weekend. We booked this hotel because there was a free breakfast and a pool for the kids to swim in. Our first day, we get up, no breakfast. The woman at the desk said without care, “the person who was supposed to set it up didn’t come in, and I’m pregnant so I can’t” mind you it was granola bars and oatmeal that was available the next morning. When we had it the next morning, there was no hot water available for the oatmeal or hot chocolate. It was honestly a joke. To top it off, the pool is closed so my kids couldn’t even swim. Yep, the two reasons we decided to stay there, we’re completely unavailable and the two guys working when we asked about the pool just seemed to think it was funny we even asked… So maybe, let’s update the website with no breakfast, and no pool…
