This Non-profit Agency offers a variety of self-help tips through other agency's. To help individuals strengthen their personal life in many ways. Just to name a few options: Counseling, Life Skills, Housing resources, and probably more options. I'm still enquiring of their services available for myself :) Donations for breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner would help them tremendously..... please and thanks

That's hard. answer because you have too put forth the effort too find a job. But the Inn is a place that can assist you in finding housing assist you in having a meal and a safe place too sleep, But you will need to contact Placer county homeless and you also have been a resident of Placer County assistance program
Yes, we take donations of clothing and travel-size toiletries 7 days a week between 8am-3pm.
Yes, they collect mostly anything for the homeless. Best times are between 830am-3pm
Yes, blankets AND all kinds of clothes too! They maintain a year round clothes closet for their guests and for those locally who are struggling during hard times. Even toiletries and backpacks/totes/etc are always needed. They can provide you with a tax deductible receipt also.
Not sure ... There is a 7 11
Hi Brenda, We have volunteer opportunities at our clothing closet on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well other opportunities as needed. You are welcome to contact the office at 916-791-9355 for more information. Thank you!
Hi Cameron, thank you for reaching out, we are happy to help! Our maximum length of stay is 180 days. Please feel free to call with any additional questions.
Afternoon Victor, Yes, The Gathering Inn does need proof of Placer county Residency to provide assistance. We may be able to help walk you through that process and what counts as placer county residency if you call 916-791-9355 we can assist you further. Thank you for being interested in The Gathering Inn and I hope we are able to assist you and help you further.
Thank you so much for being interested in donating to The Gathering Inn. At this time we would not be accepting diapers or other baby items as we have no babies currently at our shelter. We can recommend calling Kids First as they may be able to use such items. Once again thank you for thinking of us!
Yes, we are currently taking donations again. Mostly winter items and toiletries. (Water Ponchos, Socks, Underwear, Coats, Sweaters, Shampoo, Conditioner, Razors, Etc.) Thank you for thinking of us and the support.
We do only take 18+ without a parent or guardian accompanying the individual & serve Placer County only. But if you want to call our main line at 916-791-9355 we can get your information and connect you with a case manager who may be able to provide some further resources to get you in a good safe spot. Thank you for reaching out - The Gathering Inn.
I think this homeless shelter is for those 18 and over they require a Placer County California photo I'd. I'd contact the county welfare or mental health office to get you in the right direction of a young adult program. Good Luck.
Our Contact is Michael, have you tried calling his number @ (530) 885-8119. If that doesn't work please call our main number at 916-791-9355 where are admin can reach out to him or we can figure something out for our South Placer Program. Sorry for the delay in response and thank you for your support.

Not that they have announced publicly. Perhaps storage is kept there.
I stayed there and it served its purpose You Absolutely can not have drugs in your system or on your person There is No tolerance! Nik is a very professional counselor, real sharp and I do believe he really cares about people Kim is another counselor She is so busy and it seems as if she really cares but she expects 100% honestly if you have her She will bend over backwards for you but you may need to remind her often Like I said She is busy Now if you want a good start and a real life Ask about the AMI program It's temporary but Michael and Nate who work for AMI will make sure you are on track to permanent housing if you put fourth the effort Life requires work if you ever want to go anywhere Good luck
The Gathering Inn requires a proper ID that your a Placer County Resident. An easy way to achieve this is to have your food stamp / welfare case moved to Placer County at the county office. Like a California DMV ID.
Placer County Health & Human Services has been great help, so I suggest going to your local county office. You should take as much personal documentation as possible. You end up w assistance the very same day, especially if you have children.
First off you have to call a number to see if the gathering in is the best resource for you then yes a tb test and proof of placer county residentsy and yes we do have case workers on site
Yes, we most definitely help family's! Please feel free to call The Gathering Inn with any questions, as they will be more than willing to help.
Yes we are always willing to help go through the above process
Check in is at 3pm . I think you have to talk to Kim first. She is in the day room. You go on a bus to a different church daily. The church feeds you dinner. When in the day room you can ask for info about place county adult system of care. They can help you with transitional housing and mental health referrals. There is also Cirby Hill's mental health Services.
So what is the question?
