Always a destination, when I'm in the Sacramento area. If you can't find it here, you don't need it! I LOVE the Farmer's Market & food stalls in Denios! Don't buy more than you can eat/process in a few days because it will go bad faster than store bought. Indulge in the variety and bounty of all the farmers. Bring a cart 🛒 & reusable bags for all your amazing finds throughout the swap meet.

Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet is a great place to go on the weekend. Whether Saturday or Sunday, you can find almost anything you could need or want. They do specialize in bargain items. We’ve visited today to get fresh fruits and vegetables as well as candy. We grabbed a bite to eat at the various corners of the market, from sweet horchata to freshly made elote and chips. Bring a hat, wear comfortable shoes, some cash and a rolling cart to carry the items you buy.

Super cool, super fun! The produce is great and the bargains are plenty. It costs 5$ to enter, but well worth it. We went early this morning and walked almost 4 miles. Makes for a fun date just to walk around, shop and talk.
Yes, pets are welcome as long as they're properly cared for and rules are followed.
Yes, on a leash, in a stroller, or in a carrying bag, pets are family too and Denio's is a family place! 😉 Bring the family and enjoy!
They are open regardless of rain. However, you will find less garage sale type of sellers as they are usually in uncovered spots. The "regulars" are there no matter rain or shine. If you like to bargain, rain is probably a great motivator.
Hi Yolanda, the only animals available for purchase are birds. Puppies are no longer allowed. Please give us a call and we may be able to help you further - 916-782-2704. Thank you!
Be smart wear gloves or ask them to pick for you and in bags if you want to be distance from.people come early few people show for grabs they sell gloves and mask plus toilet papers
Don't think so. Each vendor sell by their own priced an items. But it helps to call the main office there on site. Their number will be on their website.
Hi,
Denio's doesn't sell goat's any more,
Their livestock section closed about 8 - 10 year's ago..
They used to have a Live Auction across the street next to the railroad tracks offering, Cow's, Goats, Sheep, Pig's Chickens, Ducks etc....
They also had a Pet Food & Supply Section,
Where you could buy Hay,
That's All History now !!!
I was told Fridays is the Farmer's Market, you may find a few other merchandise vendors, but the weekend is the best for merchandise and garage sale items....Sunday "is busiest" was the word I got when I was out there last weekend...
What food stand? Like a corndog stand?Just wondering because sending a group of people w/limited income we want to inform. They wanted know which ones were open, like corn dogs, how much they are.. Thank you
I would park in the main parking lot off of Vinyard Rd. There's a lot of parking spaces and once you are there you can begin your adventure. When you get ready to leave you don't have to walk a nlong way around the lot. There's another lot but id you stay in the main lot it's cheaper (not much) but it's better. Have a great time, I do.
I have been going for about 40 years to Denio's, they do not have shopping carts nor any other sort of scooter, most people whom expect to find things to buy including fruits and vegetables, those people make sure they take on of those personal shopping carts made for folding up and storing away. In addition to your question, i would very highly recommend going to Denio's on Sunday due to people are more open to negotiating if it means not having to take to much of there merchandise back home and especially the fruits and vegetables, salespeople start coming down on fruits and vegetables cost close to noon, they prefer to take back less by selling for less, than on Saturday or early Sunday at higher prices compared to later part of Sunday.
The majority of vendors are completely set up by 9 am, including the Farmer's Market. The earlier you get there the better, especially on Sundays and you get the best availability of stock.
I'm not sure I don't know what their policy is on parking on private parking lots you better check they may tow your car but it's only two or three dollars is well worth it to park in there if you have a family do not suggest parking over there also who's going to watch your car at denials they have security there watching your car it's only two or three dollars to park in there. Is two or three dollars worth somebody breaking into your car especially when it's hot you got to remember when you go there in the next month or two it's going to be in the hundreds pay the $3 to park there
You can have dog ,depending on weather or not the dog in question can pass as
" A GUIDE DOG IN TRAINING "
I HAVE TAKEN MY DOG (A PIT BULL) EVERY PLACE I HAVE GONE I EVEN AM RENTING A APARTMENT THAT DOSNT ALLOW "PETS"
Because he's not a
. " pet " he's a "COMPANION" it's all in way it's worded no
rules any place excluding a "companion dog"
Fear of liability
And civil suites
None this past weekend as the weather hasn't quite passed the night frigid temps. I would definetly check in the coming week or so as spring is around the corner.
They do have people who drive you around in their cart pulled by a bike. You can definitely buy a used one there but i don't know if they rent any out. I don't believe so though
Friday is free parking day. Open about 9 to 2. Small fruit section. Mostly garage sale items. And uncovered venders. Restrooms open. Corn dogs and sodas sold. Nice walk with or without the kids day.
Friday is free parking. But only 1/2 of auction is open. Small fruit section, mostly garage sale items. Tools. Luggage. Restrooms open, small snack stand with corndogs, sodas etc. Uncrowded day to take kids or walk with friends. Bring a cart to carry purchases
