Pretty rude and unprofessional business, this location in Kirkland. I had reserved a van for an 11am pickup three days before, got a confirmation email and even a text asking for my driver’s license. I show up at 10:55 and am told I’m an hour early. Must be a mistake I say, pulling up the confirmation email. Three employees gather round looking at the computer, and one of them starts pointing and saying “See, he received communication about the change of pick up time”. I’m standing right in front of her when she says this, yet she acts like I’m not in the room. And no, I did not receive any communication. The gaslighting is strong with that one. In all fairness the first employee I encountered, a shorter young black man, was quite helpful and professional. He seemed to understand that kindness and respect doesn’t cost anything extra. I hope he finds a better place to work out, because this location is a sinkhole of professionalism and courtesy. I recommend finding a different place to patron with your business.

U-Haul reservation system is a joke. Don’t expect to get your truck at the location you “reserved” it at. Don’t expect to get it for the price you “reserved” it at. What a joke. I “reserved” a 20” truck a month ago. Now, today, the day before our move. They call and say they don’t have the truck, but that I can get the closest one on Whidbey Island. Yea, you heard that right. They forced me into a position where I had to spend 6 hours on a friday after work waiting for ferries, paying $60 for the ferry, to get the truck I “reserved” a month ago 3 miles from my house. After all that, the gentleman at the counter (who, himself, was very helpful, somehow did something in the computer whilst trying to update my drop off location that DOUBLED my price, and he couldnt fix it back. He called some corporate store number and they managed to take off a measly $30. Not the $200 they just up-charged me. I had to call the number myself and complain for 10 minutes and they dropped off another $40 or so. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with U-Haul. They should be sued.

Garrett oh says you should park your vehicle a mile down the street and come back to pick up the U-Haul. There is no parking on site. They won’t let you drive the U-Haul home and even Uber back. This guy is the most Ridiculous, incompetent U-Haul representative I have ever encountered. I would not let this individual bag my groceries. Never do Business here.
