GOOD LUCK. The number rings, drags you through lots of prerecorded info, then puts you on hold for 17+ minutes, then rings and a prerecorded message tells you this extension is not able to accept messages. This has been my experience repeatedly

So I just called the 800 number to make an appointment. After answering all of the canned questions regarding privacy, fraud, etc. the voice said "I'm sorry all of our agents are busy. Please call back another time." Seriously, is there no option to leave a message and WAIT for a call back when all the agents are NOT busy?

I saw somewhere that you're supposed to make an appointment as well however I was able to get ahold of someone and you do not have to have an appointment use a kiosk as soon as you walk in to direct you further my experience was way quicker than expected

You go to the desk the security officer directs you to a kiosk where enter answers to the questions asked the it gives you a number. You sit till your number is called to speak to an agent.

Not knowing your situation they usually give you a time when it's going to be in your account you should have got a letter on what date exactly would be might be a little later sometimes but call the Social Security 800 number if you have any questions

That I do not know the way I did is I called Social Security and Main appointment through them and I think you can do no line I just didn't do it that way you're probably have to wait a good 45 minutes before they answer though it's a process either way
