Spent several days in the Keys w/my wife last week to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We had wanted to do something "different" so we opted to rent a housboat. Please read on if you are considering the same...The facility itself is a working marina. Yes, there are houseboats, but there are also boats being put in & out, etc. It's not "just" a resort. It's a full service facility so there will be activity going on around you aside from just relaxation. That's NOT a negative but please know that to manage your own expectations. Also know that it's a houseboat..so you actually have to step into it just in case mobilty is an issue. All of that said, the facility itself was clean & you are close to a cornacopia of fun upper key dining/excursion options. I'm going to be frank, the actual unit we had initially reserved had a couple minor issues BUT, when brought to his attention, the onsite rep MIKE made up for those minor issues in spades & bent over backwards to address them and make sure, in person (& after working hours), to ensure that they were addressed. 5 easy stars, highly recommend!

I rented a house boat for the weekend, Mike is a great guy!, the Manatee house is awesome, very clean and enjoyable. We arrive by boat and the only concern is the depth around 4’

my buddy and i stayed here a couple nights while scuba diving down in the keys. it was such a great place, we loved the house boat it was so unique. i would stay here again in a heart beat. 10/10
