I walked in with my parents on Saturday, August 27th, to see the nursing home as we are trying to find a safe place for my 91 year old grandfather. Apparently, no one is on staff during the weekends to provide a walk through. I found that to be odd... Also, the front desk attendant had zero knowledge of anything what so ever. Even the most basic of questions, he had no answers and no informational hand out to provide. We explained that we drove from Fort Lauderdale and would be unable to return during the week. All he could do was provide a phone number for Ricardo whom we have already reached out too and doesn't return our calls. We explained this to him and his response was, "I don't know what else you want from me". On top of that, while we were conversing with the front desk attendant, someone from management/leadership rudely interrupted our conversation to speak with him which lasted for a minute and then quickly walked away. She didn’t acknowledge or greet us. She didn't ask us how she could help us. She just showed up and disappeared - like we were never there. In my opinion, thank you for the wonderful introduction as to the quality of care you, Viera Health & Rehabilitation, provide. I can not picture leaving anyone in your incompetent and negligent care. ***I also find it interesting/concerning to see how many recent 5 star reviews are being left by employees.*** Viera Health and Rehabilitation Center: "Hi Sami, Updating, I spoke with the building and we do not have someone who works there by the name Ricardo. We believe this post is for Viera Del Mar, which is close by to our facility. We would LOVE to have you come for a visit at Viera Health and Rehabilitation." Richard or Ricardo - I don't care. Do you employ a Tiffany? Or does she not work there either? When I visited, she was on vacation and the gentleman at the front desk had no idea when she would return, YET she was back on Monday. I'm so glad after my fantastic review Ricardo (or Richard) and Tiffany were available to answer my 90 year old grandmother's questions. Why dont you treat others who have traveled a bit with some respect?

I am an employee at Viera HRC. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The staff truly seem to care about the patients. The patients and their families say time and time again how happy they are with the care they receive at the facility. Proud to be a part of the team!

The staff is nice and polite as you would expect. But if your loved one is not capable of living alone. If they are transferring to independent or assisted living this is not the place. The Physical Therapist and Case managers paint an optimistic view about your loved ones date of discharge. Beware they don't know anything. The discharge person is Kathreen you wont have contact with her she is elusive. Even nurses sent in to evaluate your loved one wont be able to contact her. Rest assured at the last minute she will call to say come pick up your loved one or its $333 per night to stay. Discharge from this Facility was a night mare. All I asked is that they don't surprise me with DISCHARGING my mother. Im 2 1/2 hours away doing this alone. Katherine called me friday come pick up your mom on monday. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VIERA HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER. Oh and there is no parking 5 weeks I parked across the street at another medical facility. Be prepared to walk when you visit your loved one.

BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY. Cnas are always hiding off the floors. They allow staff to just walk in at whatever time after there shift starts. There is no functioning management. Every person in management will give you a different answer just to shut you up that you have to find another manager just to get the run about from them as well. If you care for you family I beg you keep them out of this establishment.
