Beautiful camping grounds; clean and well-maintained, with drinking water, showers and toilets. You will be greeted by a welcoming host family and friendly fellow campers. We thoroughly enjoyed the MTB trails (Left and Right loops more than Mouse). Bring cash for Forest Service camping fees. Firewood and ice available for purchase from Tsali Grocery on Rt 28.

Have been coming to this campsite for years, and my husband - since he was a teenager. Awesome location! So many choices for activities. One and very important part I would like to highlight, that the restroom area is extremely dirty. After cleaning personal left the bathroom I didn't notice any changes. Please, clean the bathrooms and showers. We love coming back each year to this great location!

Fantastic campground right at the base of the two Tsali trail loops making it ultra easy to ride and camp without having to get back in the car or arrange a shuttle. Trails were well maintained and very flowy with little root gnarled washouts that dominate the Pisgah trails.

I really enjoyed my stay. The site is clean and well maintained. Close to the lake and plenty of trails to go walking on. I can not wait until I can return.

Are the horse/biking trails going to open for the summer of 2020
Yes, I was just there and plenty of people fishing from both shore and boats
God created mountains and covered them with trees, then man dammed up a river that ran through those mountains and the banks of that subsequent lake became the Tsali wilderness area.
Since it is a Forest Service campground, it closes from November to April.
I believe it is
No the campground closes at the end of october
