I would not recommend going here. The owner is very rude & at times violent. I witnessed the owner physically attack a camper, unprovoked. Law enforcement saw the video of the attack & sided with the local (owner), refused to press charges. Also, the property is so poorly maintained with deep ruts that some vehicles have been damaged by driving through. To top it off they claim to do background checks on long term campers but do not. There are felons living there who allow their pitbulls to roam freely.

Had awesome camping trip at the Etowah River Campground. My son and I set out on an overnight kayak trip from this location this weekend. We didn't have any issues getting down river. The owner was very friendly and even volunteered to pick me up down river after dropping off my truck. Family friendly atmosphere. BTW don't listen to the other posts about derogatory stuff. It was a setup to try to malign this business. They are good people.

This place is awful. The woman walks around with cigarettes hanging out of her gaping mouth, slinging as many profanities as she does right hooks! Their choice of drapes are right out of the civil war era, and are desperately in need of updating. The security company they contract with is equally as atrocious, but I suppose I should leave a review on their page. Dissatisfaction, disgusted, and disappointment all the way around. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Hi Todd, sorry you had a "sketchy" presumption of who ever you talked to. My husband, the owner, thinks you talked to him and he apologizes, he's been dealing with a death, as have the rest of us. Our little community has bent over backwards to help us in our time of need. Sorry again your personal impression was a "sketchy' one. Our campground is family and pet friendly. Thanks!!
When I went there as a senior is discounted around 40... Not sure for others.. hope that helps........

Yes we do. Without power is $20 or $25 depending on location and with power is $30.
We just stayed there a couple weeks ago with our 42' and yes the have 50amp.
