What is there is very nice. They have definitely put work and money into fixing it up and updating the mall. However the amount of empty space is very sad and disappointing. The only way we would stop here in the future is if we were in Kingsport and needing to go to one of the few stores that are there.
burrito ;w;
Great mall, just wish more stores were open to shop in. I understand that most of it is because of this B.S. "covid outbreak" and it's "variants". Hopefully things will go back to somewhat normal after the truth comes out about it all!!! 🙄

Interesting mall that was clean and full of historical pictures of Kingsport on the walls. Very few people were there. The anchor stores were Durham Sports and Belk. Visited Glass Slipper Boutique to find a prom dress, but did not find anything we liked. Cinema on site, as well as Bath & Body Works and Auntie Annie's Pretzels.

I think it would be cool because you can go from the past and into the future in one day since the theatre in the mall has that modern day futuristic look about it now.
No sorry.
Safe
There are 2 shoe stores there. One on each level. Payless is one of them. They did not close it they just moved it to another floor.
Ive never heard of that establishment.
I was up there a few weeks ago and I didnt see it anywhere

Yes
A services group.
There might be one opening sometime next year, meanwhile I believe there is a store in JC mall owned by hot topic but under a different name that's supposed to be really good
No, it's in the shopping center close to PetSmart. Sorry, I forgot they moved.
We are losing our Sears in the Asheville mall too, and that part of it might end up demolished as well.
As of this time , no kiosks are planned for the entire mall , but that may change. They have not made a final decision yet.
They are working on getting new stores in but the going is slow right now. Spring will show a big boom in New openings
