Years ago I tried to adopt a kitty. Staff completely misinterpreted what I had said at a point and completely gaslight me. Discriminated against me for having an EMRD service animal they denied me entry with which I get not wanting a dog in the place but this is against the ADA. I had to leave him in the car. This was the most traumatic experience I have ever had at a place like I went home and was physically sick. I have since adopted all my fur babies in Franklin county. These people seem unhinged and unprofessional never going back again period. If they decide they don’t like you for any reason they chase you away like a bad dog. These people are crazy. Save yourself a headache go to Columbus.
Unreconstructed
Save yourself some heartache and just go to Franklin County. These folks are not truthful at all. They will allow you to schedule for one animal and at the last moment try pawning others they can't get adopted on you. Over a week period I was fed 2 different stories on a dog nobody knew about but me and them. My first and last experience with these folks. Somebody found themselves attached and they felt compelled to lie to me to place it elsewhere. It's a good thing for one to save an animal and I've had my fruitful experiences doing this and had long friendships because of it. Do it elsewhere. Gotta say I am truly disappointed. You want folks who have the means to successfully take animals in but discourage them by operating this way. Perception is very a powerful thing and this place has definitely chased me away like a dog running from a abusive owner!

You are allowed to have 5 dogs. Anything after requires a kennel license.
They dont have cats anymore .. Go to the humane society
You could try to message them through their FB messenger.
I'm under the impression there's no place in licking county for stray cats unless you go through a rescue. Anyone looking for help with stray cats might check with petsmart to be connected with one of their rescue groups. The dog shelter is funded by dog licenses which is why they don't take cats. The humane society has this wonderful center in Newark, but I believe they only take "owner surrendered" cats. I find that disappointing, that the Humane Society refuses stray cats. I've ended up doing full cat rescues on my own dime, keeping the cats myself or finding them good homes myself. It's worth it to me to save a life.
Yes they do but if I'm there when they are I can look after them U can play with them for about five or six minutes
Call the shelter and Tell them
The Human Society takes cats
No
No they do not.
No they only have dogs
They will mail them to you
Dogs are legally allowed to bark for 15 minutes...then it the same as a noise complaint
