Customers need to know what happens to them when their shoppers make too many mistakes! 1. Shopper's substitute is way more expensive than original item 2. Shopper substitutes items marked “DO NOT SUBSTITUTE” 3. Shopper brings wrong items, or items not on your shopping list 4. Shopper brings bruised, old, mushy fruit or vegetables 5. Shopper brings expired food, or food that expires next day 6. Shopper brings over cooked, burnt food from Deli 7. Shopper leaves food outside without knocking, or ringing the bell If you, the customer, have these things happen too many times, Instacart will RESTRICT your account, and you can no longer report any of these issues. If a shopper does any of the above mentioned things, you can't do anything about it.. All of the things mentioned above have happened to me, MANY TIMES, and instead of Instacart re-training the shoppers so they don’t continue to make the same mistakes over, and over, and over again, Instacart chooses to punish the customer, and not allow the customer to contact Support when these things happen!

They deleted my shopping account and stole money from me, and eventually never paid me. I try calling this number, and it hangs up on me. This is a scam!

This company is the KING of DIS-service. At first, I thought the shoppers were just lazy, but it's the company. I always mark "NO SUBSTITUTIONS" on every item and yet I end up with substitutions I never approved (I always call and get refunds, but it's a waste of time) and items being "out of stock" when I know 100% they're in the store. Today, I flat asked Instacart's customer service rep whether shoppers actually are just hurrying through and don't care to look for items so just say they're out of stock? He verified that is indeed what they do. When my order is literally 10 items and the delivery window is 2 hours, that is UNACCEPTABLE, especially given that I frequently am shorted up to 40% of the items. This makes the store look bad since the store shows items (correctly) as in stock. ALSO, since when is getting one's produce delivered all in one shopping bag acceptable? That means it was placed directly into the nasty, germ-laden cart before checkout? DISGUSTING! I've also had my entire order literally thrown onto my porch, with items (including produce) strewn all over the steps and porch and nowhere near my front door, yet blocking the walkway. One other time, I had someone leave my order at the stop sign on my street rather than even come to my house- it was pouring rain. The person texted and said they could not find my house (I live on a block with fewer than 16 houses), or I would not have even known the order was there. This company needs some good old competition, because they are currently the only game in town. Someone needs to put them OUT of everyone's misery!

Bad communication and customer service. Order was not delivered, no communication and a time change that I was not aware of. There was also an automatic cancellation fee.

Yes it's a scam. They made 6 charges on my bank account today and I have never even heard of them until contacted by my bank.
It's awful I'm sorry. I'm going to headquarters
Well, Rain, you cannot change a contract in the middle of a contract. If they agree to do something, they need to do it. They can't change the terms of a contract because it benefits them to change it if they have already contractually agreed to do something. So, no, they can't just change the contract anytime they want to.
Steals not stills. Rip not ripe
In the app itself there should be a section for help or contact, and you can call them directly
This place is awful. They also have children working. I was inva store with 12 year olds running around shopping for them. They had the app on their phones and were picking orders. Isn't there a law against child labor?
Google their headquarters. Go or talk to someone their. Or a corporate office in your area
If you sue and need any litigated support please contact me. My email i will send you if you send me your credentials.
Unfortunately there's no customer service personnel available at this location.
The prices at Whole Foods are the same in-store since Amazon took over, and are and have always been even higher on Instacart.
Need to speak to someone about a c
I signed up,went to orientation, then immediately began having problems with the app saying my account was disabled...and so I ended up never working for them...their communication online was extremely flaky. When you have a problem it takes weeks for them to email you back, and then they haven't even understood what youve said. They won't call you when you ask, and you can't reach them by phone. I'm really glad that I never worked for them. I've heard it's 8 dollars per delivery. Finally finding out a month later that they couldnt hire me to drive deliveries because of a traffic violation was the most frustrating online experience I've ever had. I agreed to be a shopper only when they asked me to...now that was a month ago also and I've heard nothing. They don't exist for me in my recognition of what a legit business should act like. I'm short, screw them. Another we could care less about the workers move. I'm sure if it was a paying client they would be all over a problem.
Did you place an order with Instacart or sign up for a membership subscription? Sometimes we sign up for things without realizing it - especially when a company doesn't have the most transparent membership process. You should contact Instacart to cancel if you signed up by accident. As for "suspicious activity," many banks consider it "suspicious" when there is simply "new" or "different" activity. For example, regular monthly payments (e.g. cell phone, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc) is normal, while a random order somewhere else (e.g. Instacart) is "unsual" or "suspicious" since you don't regularly spend money there. Since it is a robot processing this info, it thinks your spending behavior is "suspicious" because the programmers taught the robot to send the humans a notificatiom anytime there is "usual" or different activity based on the small chance it was a thief and not you making the purchase. It's a good precaution, even if it is annoying. Hope this helps!
50 Beale st. Suite 600 San Fransisco,Ca. 94105. Idk. At least when I googled "instacart" that's what popped up.
We are living in Ecuador. I will email them and Chase Bank is investigating. I'm not familiar with how Instacart works. Hopefully delivery location will find the thief...if so- dumbass!
Go to the website in support section
Now it depends on if your talking about the delivery or the store? But yes you can get your money back from the delivery just call instacart customer service if whatever you got from the store is wrong you have to go through the stores customer service and they will guide you through. Now it might take like a week or two for instacart to put your money back on your card.
I stopped using instacart for quite awhile after I was promised a reimbursement of a delivery fee. A different person will have a different response thereafter and I was left on hold when I asked for supervisor. I suggest you go through your credit card company for satisfaction. Also I've never heard of an instacart card...
There are service fees for delivery. It costs gas and labor to deliver goods.
