Would not recommend. Kept my gun for several months. Never tried to contact me. I had to call repeatedly for updates. He kept stringing me along with one excuse after another. Never DID the repair that I needed done. Worst experience I've ever had with a so called gunsmith. I would have left zero stars if it were an option.

Brought my Marlin 336 into the shop to mount a scope. Because of the age of the gun, it didn’t come with mounting holes, we had to drill and tap, mount, bore sight, and do a good cleaning. I was on the paper about 4 inches from center at 50 yards before adjustments. I could have put the grouping on a quarter. After a couple trips to the range, the rifle is tuned in and the solid mounting is evident. Thanks a bunch!

After calling a few places in town I decided to take my business to Clint. he changed out my front sight on my Ruger SP101 in under 20 minutes and I could not be happier. Would highly recommend his expertise and pride in his craft. Thanks again!

I was looking for someone who could parkerize a WWII M1 Garand. Contacted Lacombe Gunsmith & Machine and Clinton responded very quickly. I dropped the parts off Saturday and we talked a while, and he said I could pick the parts up Sunday, even though he wasn't normally open. He called me Sunday when they were ready, and WOW what a beautiful job he did. I can't say enough how please I am with the work he did, and the price was reasonable. He will be my go-to person for all my future gun needs. Check him out, he's extremely friendly, he knows guns and I don't think there's anything he can't do. For hunters, he will get your gun tuned up for your upcoming hunt. Don't wait until you're in the woods and find out your gun failed. I give him 5-stars and my highest recommendation. Check him out. I will post pictures when I get the wood back which is being refinished and engraved. Update on 3/2/2020. I purchased a 1953 Lee Enfield No4 MkII that was in terrible condition. A screw had been cut off and I couldn't get it out, so I couldn't disassemble the rifle. I took it to Lacombe Gunsmith. While speaking with Clinton, I decided to have this rifle parkerized also. He once again exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful job he did. I don't have a before picture of all the metal, but most of it was absent any finish at all. The parkerizing came out beautiful and the color is even on all parts. And the final finished assembled rifle.

Sorry we do not Nickel or Chrome plate weapons.
Well, that would all depend on what gun, what, work and how hard parts are to find if needed. My business is based on $85 Per Hour basically. Minimum $45 on all repairs due to the amount of paperwork required by the ATF Clinton
