Update 2: I have never seen this place more empty than I've seen it today. That Mexican lady turned out to be nearly just as bad as the black females. She has started selling clothes in a charity associated store for 8 dollars and stuff. Look at that broken kids chair. Some poor little girl may want this chair but because something given freely is charged so high, she can't have it. She has become rude, the only pro of having her in charge is the way she has organized things. Swell, but what about poor people, and what about being treated respectfully when you go to spend your money. I am not spreading the word to stop shopping here yet (she is doing a great job on her own) because I am trying to give her a chance to straighten back up. I have pictures today.😡 Look at this location EMPTY. Do better mexican lady. Be respectful and remember you get this stuff free... for poor people.🤦♀️ Update: The mexican lady is better than those black women were, but the power is getting to her some. She needs to go back to her humble beginnings, and not be rude to people, and remember how she was at first with the prices as well. I toned it down from a five, because I want to see how she evolves over time. Then my final rating will stand. To be honest though, the white guy who works in there sometimes(don't know who he is) but he should definitely be over that store and everything in it. He seems to be the only one with a heart and common sense in there. But he isn't there much🥺.

This store is in good area off the levee. It needs revamping totally and could use fresh ideas in displaying merchandise even though it's a small area .

Always helpful and cheerful when I visit, shop, or drop off things.

Yes
I saw a washer right by the door when I was there about a week ago.
They have a make shift one further down 4th Street , just before McArthur Avenue. Just some fridges and a pantry set up outside by a local grocery store , Rotolo and Martins Grocery. Sure any of the churches would take as well.
Yes !! That would be a great donation. Thank you.❤
I would call Volunteers of America. Thwy will pick it up.
I would check by calling first...I have seen them there but they go fast...
