Pregnant wife with UTI symptoms, burning, frequency, begging to have an MD check just for ABx prescription. They said they’re at capacity and refused us care. Told us to drive to sunset or Baldwin park. Clearly our problem wasn’t urgent enough for them. Kaiser has become a banking institution, not a healthcare organization, or at least they seemed to have stopped caring.

Worst hospital experiment ever had. Everything is a long wait. I used to have PPO, and recently switched to Kaiser after moving to a new area. First time visiting Pasadena urgent care, I waited 4 hours just to be seen. Doctor ordered me an ultrasound test, and the test was only available a week later. After taking the test, it’s another week for the results to come out. Called the customer service, they said they don’t have a timeline. Kaiser just feels like a big corporate to me, doctors are just doing their job but don’t give extra care to patients, and there is no flexibility. When you have urgent matters, you have nowhere to go but to wait. They just leave their patients anxious to die. Gonna switch back to PPO as soon as next enrollment window opens.

Kaiser pharmacy is great. I have to give Google 0 stars for not having correct hours. Pharmacy closes at 9pm, not 7pm! I am in so much pain because google said 7pm. Check. 5 stars for Kaiser, zero for google.

Nice staff, clean facility specially the urgent care rooms on the 3rd floor. Sometimes the wait is very long and the kiosk to check-in electronically is not working. Also, the urgent care waiting area if you have covid symptoms like cough is in the atrium on the ground floor, so it can be cold at times while waiting.

The lab is open at Pasadena until 11:45am... they're able to do blood work in urgent care but there is a wait because urgent care patients are priority
Yes they have an mental health hospital in LA i forget where. Clinics are on Sunset, and one in Pasadena. They are so short on therapist that its hard to get a therapy appointment it takes at least a month or longer. They push these group therapy sessions instead. (I wanted one on one) Kaiser has an option to refer you out but they give you such a hard time, they want to keep all the $$ inhouse. I had to call several times and demand they refer me out. Do your research my therapist with Kaiser wasnt for me.
