First time. Great experience. Waitresses were amazing, friendly and fast. The place was packed yet we didn't have to wait to be seated or for our food. As soon as we finished one dish, the next dish was served (and we had 10 people in our party). Food was excellent. Hot fudge was fantastic.

Went there for Valentines Day celebration with another couple. Had the best time. Food was amazing and deep dish apple pie with their famous whipped cream was so yummy. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was there stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Loved the entire experience thoughπ

What a special dinner experience. Did the fireside dinner. Everything was excellent! The atmosphere was perfect. The sleigh ride was beautiful as the snow had just fallen. The fireplace cooking is neat to see and you can help them cook the chowder, fun!!

Came here to treat myself to lunch after hiking in the Quabbin. I had a cheeseburger with fries. They raise their own cattle in pastures right on the property. You can taste the high quality difference. The burger was phenomenal and cooked β¦

Hi Melinda! Thanks for asking if we'll be open for Easter 2021. Unfortunately, we will not be open. BUT, we will be open for Mother's Day! Come visit us then! Hope you have a Happy Easter!
Hi DJ. We always accept reservations and during this time of Covid, they are definitely appreciated. That said, starting February 15, we started a hibernation period. Our plan is to reopen in the Spring although we're not sure exactly when, yet. Watch our website or facebook page for accurate information. www.salemcrossinn.com We look forward to seeing you in the Spring!
Hi Shellie. We're not sure what we're doing for Thanksgiving quite yet. We're in discussion on it. Keep your eye on our website or facebook page. As soon as we know, it will be posted there. Or, give us a call sometime in October. Thanks for your interest!
They can yes. We seated 11 at a table
Sleigh/wagon rides are included as part of our Fireplace Feast dinner series, weather permitting. These are wonderful dinners where we roast prime rib in the fireplace. I'll include the link here. https://www.salemcrossinn.com/events/dining-events/fireplace-feast/
Yes to both questions If you are bringing a wheelchair, you should get there early
You need reservations for the dinner and the hayride is included
I do not know. I was a visitor not an employee. Call them.
Hi Sherri Yes, we can accommodate gluten free at our Fireplace Feasts and for that matter, in our regular dining as well. No problem at all. You just need to let us know in advance for the Fireplace Feast. If purchasing tickets through our website, just check off the gluten free box. If purchasing tickets by calling us, just let us know that you are gluten free. Thanks for asking!
Hi Beverly! Yes, we do have gift certificates. Give us a call and we'd be happy to help you with a gift certificate purchase. Best to call during office hours - Tuesday - Friday, 9:30-4:00. They make a wonderful gift! Thanks for asking!
The Drover's Roast is held on Father's Day every year. I have a hunch that you may be wondering about our Fireplace Feasts where we roast the prime rib and make the chowder in the fireplace and we have horsedrawn wagon or sleigh rides as part of the dinner. These are held from November through April and tickets must be purchased in advance. If you go to our website, you will see the full list of dates there. Thanks for asking! https://www.salemcrossinn.com/events/dining-events/fireplace-feast/
Hi Claire! We serve the vegetables and rolls family style. Other than that, the prime rib and potatoes are served individually and we go around to all of the guests with platters of beef, after we finish serving the entrΓ©e, to offer seconds if you happen to still be hungry! There is plenty of food for all to enjoy! It's a fun-filled event!
Not sure, we were there for a wedding and reception in June
Not necessarily fancy, but i would say no jeans. Casual to dressy.
Sleigh ride as weather permits. Otherwise they offer hay rides. Both are very enjoyable. Food is above average and have always had a wonderful time. Their events are very well attended by many. Every event I've attended was sold out. But in my opinion the service provided is well above average when compared to other venues I've been to.
